According to The Guardian report, a girl from New Zealand has filed a case against her long time boyfriend for violating the ‘verbal contract’. As heavy as this may sound, the matter is equally interesting. Actually, what happened was that the girl had to go to another city for a music concert. The boyfriend had said that he would drop her to the airport and would also take care of her two pet dogs for two days in his absence. The circumstances were such that the boy could not come to drop her and the girl missed her flight.

The girl told the dispute tribunal that she has been in a relationship for 6 and a half years. At the last moment, the boyfriend did not reply to the message and she had to cancel her trip. She spent a lot of money on going the next day and the reason for this was only his not fulfilling his promise. While giving the verdict in the case, the court said that unless you are in a legally binding relationship, such pressure cannot be exerted, meaning the girl had to be disappointed.
